Forever Faster – Calling all Trouble Makers
PUMA have launched their new platform Forever Faster as part of their branding campaign to appear as the ‘fastest sports brand in the world’ – and what better way would there be for them to portray their new image than to feature World’s Fastest Man Usain Bolt in their promo advert! Bolt is accompanied by the likes of football icons Mario Balotelli, Sergio Agüero, Marta Vieira da Silva; golfers Rickie Fowler and Lexi Thompson; and the Scuderia Ferrari Formula One team. As part of their campaign, Puma has intentionally chosen athletes with off-the-wall personalities to appear in their spot in order to highlight the idea of risk, bravery and determination. The entire feature is exactly one minute long. Tied in with the image of speed of that PUMA are trying to promote, overall this works in their favour.
The blurb from Puma reads: “PUMA’s mission is to be the fastest sports brand in the world. Through our endless pursuit to push the sports world forward, we are Forever Faster. Not fast. Faster. Faster is more determined. It trusts its instincts, not the rules. It’s brave. It’s confident. Faster reminds the world what it means to play. Then wins it all, breaks records, breaks them again, and takes a victory lap”.
Overall, Forever Faster promotes the danger, the excitement and the rush affiliated with the world of sports and PUMA challenges us to join in as they call all trouble makers.
