This weekend sees the return of the Premier League. There is potential for loads of goals this weekend so here’s a preview of some of the weekend’s games and where the goals will be.
Manchester City and Tottenham
This will be a very open affair with both teams very attacking football. Yaya Toure and David Silva were on top form a couple of weeks ago against Villa and expect them to continue this good form.
I can’t see Tottenham being an easy opponent for them and players such as Nacer Chadli and Christian Eriksen will look to carry on the great form they’ve shown this season. Chadli is a big doubt however. Prediction: 2-0
Arsenal v Hull
Arsenal have a defensive crisis on their hands with no fit right-backs and no fit second centre-back. Hull can look to expose this so players such as Abel Hernandez will be highly likely to get on the score-sheet.
Arsenal could welcome back Theo Walcott but it could be to early for him. Danny Welbeck looks set to start upfront but the defence will let Arsenal down in this game. Prediction: 1-1
Crystal Palace v Chelsea
Palace are great defensively but have yet to face the deadly combination of Costa and Fabregas. Palace beat Chelsea at Selhurst Park last season so Chelsea will be out to seek revenge. I’m predicting a comfortable 0-2 to Chelsea.
Everton v Aston Villa
The most played game in the top flight, this game looks set to be full of goals as Everton look to kick start their season. Romelu Lukaku will seek some goals so expect him to get on the score-sheet. Steven Naismith is also in fine form after his goal midweek for Scotland, he will be buzzing with confidence.
QPR v Liverpool (Sunday)
You feel this game will be all about Raheem Sterling so he will be keen to put on a good show especially against his boyhood club QPR as well.
QPR are on a poor run of form and Liverpool will see this as three points they cannot afford to drop. Prediction: 1-3
West Brom v Manchester United (MNF)
Manchester United face a tough away game against the in-form West Brom. WBA have put in some good performances recently and Saido Berahino is one of their stand-out players.
Angel di Maria will be looking to continue his excellent form Falcao will also be looking to get on the score-sheet again after scoring his first goal for United against Everton a couple of weeks ago. Prediction: 1-2
